No. Posting a job is free, browsing applications is free, hiring is free. We make money from optional household plans (Plus/Pro) and a small service fee on completed jobs. Helpers keep 100% of their rate.

Government ID + selfie match, Canadian criminal record, and the national sex-offender registry, re-run every 12 months. The Pro plan adds federal and motor-vehicle records plus a licensed PI investigative search.

You pay through Otter Works (Stripe). Cleaners are paid weekly via direct deposit. Tipping is built in. We never share your card details with the cleaner, and the cleaner never sees your home address until you choose to share it.

Cancel any plan in two clicks from Settings → Billing. We prorate the rest of your month. No phone calls, no email loops.
